We, my daughter Kelly, my other daughter Fay, my wife and I live in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. My daughter Fay also has asthma, and I must say, for that, we are living in a wrong, bad area. Rotterdam has many smog from the industry, the harbour, and a lot of traffic. Every year is here a collection for the asthma kids, and we always support this with a donation. We do every year in Roosendaal, the southwest part of Holland organise a truckersweekend. At Saturday is in a big tent a lot of things to do, like musicbands and other things for the truckers and the handicapped kids. At Sunday the truckrun. (this year 240 trucks!). I'm truckdriver for 27 years at www.vgl.nl and I drive on a long trailer. In the beginning of the 80-ties was the planning a truckrun for handicapped with trucks here. I was always drivin' on the truckrun, but the last 5 years I do another thing. I make a real tv-film with my tv-camera and that's all ;-) Euh......this website I created to let show how we are and what truckdrivers can do more than only driving a truck. Texas This was in response from an email sent through a friend of ours in Sweden promoting our Convoy For Kids Inc over there. Hi Jan, nice to hear from you, my Management in Sweden is definately doing their job eh?
