Terms & Conditions: This raffle promotion will commence on or prior to (Date will be here) and will conclude on (Date will be here). The ticket price is $2-00 each and there are 10 tickets per book. The recommended retail pricing of prizes is correct at time of printing and may vary according to market changes. If the exact products are unavailable at the time of the draw, we will match a product of similar or equal value. The raffle Draw will take place on: (DATE) at (VENUE). Convoy For Kids Inc. registered members are not eligible to purchase tickets. By law, the first *correct entry drawn will determine the winner. (*the minimum correct details which must be on the winning tickets are: name and contact telephone number). Winners will be notified by telephone. All prizes must be claimed by the (DATE). Convoy or Kids Inc is a declared genuine charitable organisation by the Commission. Convoy For Kids Inc abide by the Gambling Regulation Act 2003. Permit (NUMBER HERE). Proceeds are for childhood asthma awareness, health promotion and other special kids causes. Receipts are not issued for raffle tickets as the purchaser’s ticket is their receipt of purchase. A person selling raffle tickets: * must ensure that sufficient information is obtained from ticket purchasers to identify and locate the person to whom the ticket is sold. The ticket purchaser’s name and contact telephone number, clearly printed on the ticket butt, is sufficient. * must be registered with and authorised by Convoy For Kids Inc to do so; * children can buy or *sell raffle tickets. (*See Below) * must not be remunerated in respect of selling tickets. A person selling raffle tickets ‘Door to Door’: * MUST consist of at least two (2) people, including no less than one (1) registered Convoy For Kids Inc member or registered Convoy For Kids Inc volunteer over 18 yrs old. * Children under 18 yrs old selling raffle tickets MUST be accompanied by a Registered Adult if selling to neighbours or 'door to door'. NO EXCEPTIONS as children's Safety is paramount and Convoy For Kids Inc abide by children's protection laws. * must be wearing their Convoy For Kids Inc membership ID or Convoy For Kids Inc Volunteer ID tags in a prominent position. * must not pressure anyone into purchasing tickets. Not everyone may want to buy a ticket. * must NOT enter inside anyone’s home under any conditions. (Remember, you are selling tickets representing a charity, and you wouldn't like to be accused of something you haven't done, which could also reflect on our charity.) * is responsible for the correct amount of money from their sold tickets, or bank receipts from their tickets sold, to be given to the raffle coordinators. (Convoy For Kids Inc direct banking details will be given to ticket sellers if required). * is responsible by law, for returning ALL butts from sold tickets - PLUS any unsold tickets to the raffle coordinators. The raffle draw: (a) The method of the draw will allow each ticket in the draw a random and equal chance of being drawn. (b) As there is more than one prize being offered, the draw will ensure the first ticket drawn will win the first prize and so on. First prize is defined as the most valuable prize offered in the raffle. "Reverse draw" raffles are illegal and prohibited. (eg: To draw the last prize winning ticket out first, is prohibited by law.) (c) The draw will be conducted on the day printed on the tickets, being a day not more than 14 days after the proposed last ticket sale. (d) The draw will be by an independent, non-registered member of Convoy For Kids Inc. (e) A ticket which has been drawn is not eligible to be drawn again and must not be placed back into the draw. Winner notification and prize distribution: (1) The results of the draw will be published on the official Convoy For Kids Inc website and winners notified in accordance with the method printed on the tickets. (2) Prizes will be presented or sent to winners within 28 days after the draw, unless the winner cannot be identified or located, or does not wish to accept the prize. Disposal of unclaimed prizes: In the event a winner does not claim a prize in this raffle and/or Convoy For Kids Inc who conducted the raffle cannot, after a reasonable effort, find a winner of the prize/s, or the winner/s do not wish to accept the prize/s, Convoy For Kids Inc will: (1) ensure the prize/s is retained for 12 months after the draw; (2) if the prize/s have still not been claimed after 12 months from the draw date, Convoy For Kids Inc will sell or otherwise dispose of the prize/s, if this has not already been done, and pay the proceeds (after deducting the reasonable costs of the sale or disposal) to the Convoy For Kids Inc Treasurer for payment into the raffles fund.
