Shop at Ritchies and Help the Asthma Kids

IT IS SO SIMPLE TO HELP US:
All you need to do is go into any Ritchies Supermarket or Liquor store and ask for a Community Benefit Card.
Then you simply need to enter 'Convoy for Kids Inc' and our CB (Community Benefits) number: 93708.
Your card (or keyring) can then be used at any of Ritchies 34 stores throughout Victoria.
You can also send a Stamped Self Addressed Envelope to:

P.O. Box 84, Park Orchards. Vic, 3114. and we will send you a Ritchies Card or Keyring with our details on it. NOTE: Please write your name and contact number plus state whether you prefer a Ritchies Card or Keyring.

• Every time you shop at Ritchies, please remember to present your Ritchies card or Ritchies key tag to the cashier.
• Every time the bar code on the card (or keyring) is scanned, 1% of the money you spend is automatically allocated to Convoy For Kids Inc (if you have chosen us).
• Make sure you’re not the only person to nominate Convoy For Kids Inc when shopping at Ritchies! If you and 5 to 10 other friends or members (at least), spend a total of $1,000 between you all in the month (for example - if ONLY 10 people spend $25-00 each a week at Ritchies, it equals $1000-00 in total per month), and we will qualify for the minimum donation of $10.
• There is no limit to the amount we can receive through Ritchies' Community Benefit Card program. Put simply, the more members or supporters shopping at Ritchies, the greater the size of the donation that Ritchies will give our charity each month.
• If you already support another non-profit or other organisation through Ritchies, please consider also supporting the Asthma Kids by ALTERNATING your community cards to help us as well. Sharing is a kind way of helping more than one group.
• Remember to also present your Ritchies Card at *Ritchies Bottle Shops. (*Sometimes the driveway attendants are busy and may forget to ask you for your card.)

In 1870, when Thomas Ritchie opened a grocery store in the tiny country settlement of Frankston, he did so intent on three things — keeping his shop competitive, rewarding staff, and donating part of his profit back to the community.
Now approaching 150 years in business, Ritchies is proud of its status as Australia’s largest independent supermarket and liquor chain, a company in which many staff have shares and our founder’s "shilling for every pound" offer has grown into the Community Benefit program.
We currently donate many millions of dollars each year to the clubs, kindergartens, schools and charities nominated by our shoppers. It’s a long and successful heritage. As we say, shop at "Ritchies – where the community benefits".

Ritchies' free Community Benefit Card automatically entitles you to membership in their Christmas Voucher Club.
Ritchies' Christmas Voucher Club enables you to pre purchase vouchers throughout the year (and we will still receive benefits for the kids), in any amount you like from 50 cents upward, which you can use for your Christmas grocery and liquor shopping at any Ritchies supermarket or liquor store.

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle

When shopping ANYWHERE, please take your own calico, paper bags or other shopping bags to help the environment.
Degradable Plastic Bags
Ritchies are now using only degradable checkout bags in all Ritchies Supermarkets and Liquor Stores. Degradable bags can still be reused as a bin liner or as a carry bag, and can also be returned to your Ritchies store to be recycled.
Calico bags, green bags and other alternatives are stocked in all Ritchies supermarkets.
