TRUCKIES ARE OUR ROAD TREASURES – IF YOU’VE GOT IT – A TRUCK BROUGHT IT
Sami-Trook – ‘Safety-Sami’ was designed by Jan Maher (International Ambassador and Patron for Convoy For Kids) and Travis Dean (Aquatat) as a Special Edition Mascot to be adopted by Truckies, people in the Transport Industry, Safety and Emergency Services including Ambulance and Para Medics, Police Officers, Fire Brigades, plus ordinary people - for the purpose of helping Road Safety Awareness.
Sami-Trook can also be given to children injured or involved in an accident - or traumatised due to an accident on our highways, as it is usually a Truckie who stops to help at road accidents before the emergency vehicles can arrive.
Sami-Trook is also for children with Life Threatening Diseases. Safety-Sami is for EVERYONE as he Rated CE (for all ages from birth) and has Educational Tips on his swing tag. He is approximately 30cm Tall (approx 12 inches high) and VERY CUDDLY (which helps traumatised children)
He has a Truckie Singlet/Tee shirt on which can have Sponsor’s Logo’s, YOUR Charity or a child’s name embroidered or printed on.
Each Sami-Trook is a little individual and has slightly different facial features. **Should any truckies (or anyone with SAMI in their vehicle) ever have the need to give Sami-Trook to an injured or traumatised child involved in an accident on the highways, we have Sponsors who may replace Sami at no charge to the driver for donating their own Sami to that child/children (Conditions Apply). NOTE: The driver only needs to contact us and supply us with as many details about the accident as possible including when and where the accident occurred, and the family or child’s name plus the persons details who donated Sami to the child, for us to verify that SAMI was given to an injured or traumatised child for us to have a Sponsor replace the Mascot. This avoids the purpose of Sami-Trook being inadvertently abused.
Safety-Sami was also designed to raise Road Safety Awareness and Safety on the highways and byways of the World. Truck Drivers adopting (purchasing) Sami may also become ‘Truckie-Mates’ for being safe and courteous drivers. Sami is an Educational toy as the swing tag is a 4 sided card with educational snippets and fun, interactive stuff for kids to be involved in, plus Truckies Tips. Sami-Trook also was designed to help raise funds for children with Life Threatening diseases and Disabilities.
When was Sami Born
Sami Trook was 'Born' (launched) on Sunday the 30th of March 2003 at Calder Park Raceway, Calder Park due to the Major Sponsorship from Jan Maher & Associates and Orange Logistics Pty. Ltd. (Trading as JDEM Freighters). Sami Trook is growing with Convoy For Kids Worldwide and is designed to be able to also help OTHER Charities for Children.
Sami also visits other Convoy's and Truck Shows within Australia and similar children's fundraising organisations Overseas - run by Truckies/Truckers and Companies associated with the Trucking and Transport Industry all over the World to help Children everywhere.
Any Charity, Organisation, School, Kindergarten, Ambulance, Police, Fire Brigades and Clubs Can Benefit from Sami.
For Charities, Schools, other organisations etc wishing to purchase Sami, we can often avoid delivery costs (which IS NOT included in the wholesale price) because many Trucking Companies are usually only too happy to transport bulk orders of Sami-Trook Interstate at no cost to help our Charity help others. Those Companies then also receive acknowledgement on our websites as a Sponsor.
Sami-Trook’s pricing is structured so that MORE THAN ONE (1) CHARITY CAN BENEFIT from the sale of the Road Safety Mascot.
The WHOLESALE price includes a donation for childhood Asthma – this allows other Charities purchasing Sami a profit for their own fundraising as his recommended Retail is between AU$25:95 to AU$29:95. It is up to each individual charity/group 'Adopting' (purchasing) Safety-Sami as to what price THEY CHOOSE to retail the Mascot for. Sami’s Tee-Shirt is also left blank to allow other Charities to have Individual Sponsors Logo’s embroidered or printed on them along with your own charity logo if they wish to (embroidery is not included in the wholesale price). Some of our Sami-Trook Mascots are already travelling with Truckies throughout ALL states of Australia, USA, Canada, Egypt, Bangladesh, Dubai, Pakistan, England, China, Scotland, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Alaska, the Netherlands, South Africa, Germany, Sweden, UK, New Zealand, The Philippines and heading off to more Countries soon. He is in MANY Trucks, Hospitals, some Police Cars & Police Stations, Fire Engines and Stations, Ambulances, Special Schools, Radio Stations and lots of children’s bedrooms.

Emma’O’Possum is getting ready to make her personal appearance into the world of Sami-Trook. She is already on our website in the beginning of Sami’s Adventures. More details will be available shortly. You can see her picture on the swing-tags.
Sami will have a series of Story Books (which are being written by Jan Maher), truck and car safety stickers and many more surprises as he grows up.
‘Sami-Trook’ is a name which Jan and Travis associated with ‘Semi-Truck’ hoping for the name ‘Sami-Trook’ (shortened to ‘Sami’ or 'Safety-Sami') to become synonymous with Truck Drivers Worldwide as they carry him in their trucks and to create Road Safety Awareness globally.
NOTE: At this stage there will be a limited number of 'Young’ Sami-Trook Mascots as he will be growing up and his design will change a little, so don't miss out as our Individual 'Young' Sami-Trook’s might become Collector's Items.
